Systems That Work With The Digestive System:

*Circulatory System:

The Digestive system works with the Circulatory system because the Digestive system makes nutrients that must be given to cells. The cells turn the nutrients into energy. The body, needs energy. The Circulatory system is like a delivery system.

*Skeletal System:

The Digestive system needs the ribs that are part of the skeletal system to cover the digestive system organs from any danger. And to keep them safe.

*Muscular System:

The Digestive system works with the Muscular system by chewing food. Muscles move your jaw bone to chew up the food. Also with the sphincter muscles, which lets food into one organ to another. There are two intestinal muscles, that makes the intestines move the food from the small intestine to the large intestine. There is an other muscle called the esophagus muscle which moves food down the esophagus into the stomach.

*Respiratory System:

The Digestive system works with the Respiratory system because, when you gulp too much air and it goes down the esophagus into your stomach the lungs give air and you burp, so that air won’t hurt your stomach.

*Nervous system:

The nevous system works with the digestive system by sending information from the brain to tell the digestive system what to do and how to work.

Excretory system:

The excretory system works with the digestive system, because it allows the digestive system to eject the things that our body doesnt need, and it is also the final part of digestion.
